Tail of the Dragon Day 1
Day 1 of our Tail of the Dragon trip took us from Massachusetts to Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg Maryland then on to Front Royal Virginia for our first night. Over 600 miles were covered today and MANY more to come in the following days as we tackle Skyline Drive, The Python, Rt 411, Moonshiner and the Rattler tomorrow. (and a few more that I am forgetting 
) And will end up in Little Switzerland, NC for the night.
Then on to Asheville NC on Wednesday and we will greet the Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway with open throttles and gripping rubber!

Make sure to include the Hellbender 28. It runs from the lower end of the tail around the South edge of Fontana Lake. Great drive and you can continue on to the Nantahala Brewery in Bryson City.

I was hoping I could join you guys for the dragon, but 'stuff' got in the way. I hope y'all have a great run, and be sure to watch for cops, they do patrol the dragon.
