Just say 'No'.

Of course you can do whatever you want - it's your car. But for a small amount of effort, you can have your original ones looking fantastic.

No, absolutely not. Fuzzy Dice are at least 3 levels above caliper covers.

It's like buying a car cover to avoid washing your car, not to mention the damage if one were to come loose!

I paint right over them. Then after it dries I drag a razor blade across the letters at a 90 degree angle a few times.

It's your car, your money, do whatever you want to it. Go with what makes you happy. Later on, if you ever get tired of the covers, they're easily removed.

First off, it's interesting how many folks on this forum actually know what curb feelers are.

I'm about to have new brake pads installed and the rotors turned. Also getting some new tires at the same time. Maybe a repaint of the calipers will be in order while she's on the lift. Thanks for all the input.

Curb feelers, fuzzy dice, and caliper covers are all fine as long as you buy them from a forum vendor. Add a wing, a fart pipe, as well as some **** carpet on the dash. It's your car

I'm guessing more than the story or meaning of the FUZZY DICE

Caliper covers.... how much more tasteless and careless can one really get? I agree with the others, at least spend a few dollars for a can of brake clean, a caliper paint kit and put a little elbow greese/effort into it.

At least you have the excuse that they came on your car when you bought it. Keeping them on is all on your shoulders, though. I tried to warn you, bonehead!

oh yeah,

I like this guy - sense of humor and actually considers feedback from the great unwashed masses.

You'll do just fine here, Mr. Thin Crust.

Btw, most of us are intimately familiar with curb feelers - after all, this is a Corvette forum and you what they say about Corvette owners being a bunch of old farts trying to feed a mid-life crisis with these dream machines.

Paint or Powder Coat. I went with Powder Coat from Mike on the forum and they look as good as the day I got them back from him.

While painting calipers, paint the hub on the rotor gloss black.

Very subtle touch.

NOT caliper color! You do not want to see them.

And i converted my rears to front calipers, all powder coated because I wanted the Corvette logo on all fours and the look of the larger caliper in the rear. Every body is different, so cover if you want, paint, or powder coat. Your car your choice.

I appreciate all the information. I've been over in the C7 section however, and have decided my best bet is to forego any enhancements to my current car and just buy a new one.
