It's like buying a car cover to avoid washing your car, not to mention the damage if one were to come loose!

It's your car, your money, do whatever you want to it. Go with what makes you happy. Later on, if you ever get tired of the covers, they're easily removed.

First off, it's interesting how many folks on this forum actually know what curb feelers are.
I'm about to have new brake pads installed and the rotors turned. Also getting some new tires at the same time. Maybe a repaint of the calipers will be in order while she's on the lift. Thanks for all the input.

Curb feelers, fuzzy dice, and caliper covers are all fine as long as you buy them from a forum vendor. Add a wing, a fart pipe, as well as some **** carpet on the dash. It's your car

Seems to be a consensus around here that caliper covers are right up there with fuzzy dice and curb feelers. But my calipers are rather nasty and faded, and really detract from the polished wheels. Will using this product get me banned from eating lunch with the cool kids?

You'll do just fine here, Mr. Thin Crust.
Btw, most of us are intimately familiar with curb feelers - after all, this is a Corvette forum and you what they say about Corvette owners being a bunch of old farts trying to feed a mid-life crisis with these dream machines.

I appreciate all the information. I've been over in the C7 section however, and have decided my best bet is to forego any enhancements to my current car and just buy a new one.
