Default lowering kit

How do u lower a c5? I have heard of people lowering their cars with their stock bolts. Is it better to buy the aftermarket bolts? If I lower my 03 coupe do I have to do a realignment?

This is lowered on stock bolts .... And yes you need to get an alignment , infact about ever 6,000 miles I get mine re aligned if it needs it or not , it's much cheaper than buying front tires ..

This is my 2001 Coupe lowered on stock bolts. Yes you will need to get it aligned after you do this.

Just remember if you go too low you will mess up the geometry of the car.

I lowered on stock bolts and left about a finger gap in both. I now have Coil Overs.
