Can anyone recommend a mobile inspection company, either national or one that covers the Southeast, that is reputable and experienced in inspecting used corvettes?

For what's it is worth...
I had the previous owner take mine to a Chevy dealership and they did a " pre sale inspection " on it for about 125.00. ( my cost ) I recieved in return a four page inspection that mentioned things such as break wear, A/C function, wiper blade condition, and so on. Worth every penny. Also, there is a list of peole at the top who will look at cars for you...

I am located int he Charlotte, NC area but the car that I am looking to purchase in in the Georgia area.

I would recommend an independent mechanic or dealership perform an inspection. As for me if I were selling to an out of state potential buyer there is no way I would allow a local private person representing the buyer to crawl around, jack up or disassemble, (to ascertain brake condition) let alone drive my car, for the sake of providing his opinion to the buyer. That's just me, but it's your call.
