Default Actual Cash Value?

i know this question never seems to get answered anywhere that I look, but I have to ask. Can anyone help me figure out the ACV of my car? it's a 2001 Z06 with 75000 miles and before my accident friday night, it was in pretty good condition. I KBB is usually way off so I thought i might run into an adjuster or someone who knows a lot more than I do on here. Thanks in advance

I would say you could get 18,000-20k if it's totaled. Kbb will be higher. In the bike world insurance places would call 3 dealerships and ask what we would retail "xyz" for then take the average. Good luck

I would run all of the big name book values that you can and add for anything else you have added to the car. You should also go to auction sites and private for sale ads and find cars similar to yours in both mileage and condition to show them what they are selling for currently. They will likely try to lowball you, so print everything out and be ready to prove why the car is worth more than their initial offer.

Insurance adjusters will usually search online for same year/model cars being sold in your area. They'll take into consideration the age and condition of your car prior to the incident. They'll probably offer you an average cash price based on that info. Too bad you didn't have an agreed on value option with your policy. It would have made things simpler if your car is totaled.
