I want to put new leather seat covers on my 01 where did you get your covers and how pleased were you with them. Did you put new foam in at the same time? Thanks for any input you can share.

I bought my seat covers from Vette Essentials. Outstanding quality and customer service. Not cheap, but top quality leather. I did not replace the foam because the car had only about 10K miles on it at the time. If your car has quite a few miles, I would go ahead and replace the foam when you do the covers.
i just installed some skins i got from exoticleather on ebay. still need to get wrinkles out with a heat gun. my foams were pretty trashed so i attempted t fix them. the covers would fit a little better if the foams werent so collapsed so id recomend buying new foams or double checking yours first.
I installed new leather skins from LC leathers (on e bay) and new foam from Vette Essentials. New foam is a must for a good job. The skins were very good and reasonably priced ($350-). My upholster says very good skins and added how many more years do you expect to get from a 10 year old car...he has a excellent point. Suggest professional installation. Not hard to install but technically challenging IMHO. Good luck, Rob
I just got done with mine. I got my skins from exoticleather on ebay, and the new foam from Mid america. It was more time consuming than I thought it would be, and very tough on the fingers. Pulling and tugging to get most of the wrinkles out was a challenge to say the least. But I was very happy with the outcome. The original foam was deteriorated more than I expected, and putting new skins on it would have caused many wrinkles. I have a pic showing before and after. Yes the seats are that much taller now and very comfortable. Don't know how to get the pics to show without the link, sorry.
Mine are Vette Essentials.
New Covers and new seat foam.
