Default Exhaust recommendation

I am looking for a "medium" toned exhaust. Nothing extremely loud but nothing too quiet. Something with a throaty sport sound. Am thinking magna flow with x pipe. Would this be good?

The Factory Zo6 Ti's are the best for what your looking for hands down....

I used to have a Trans Am w Bullets dumped at the axle and hated it, Cops, and Could have a Convo in the car to save your life.

My Z makes 425whp w Headers and No Cats and the Ti's and I love it, cruising is good sounding to turn heads but wont **** off the cops nor bother anyone inside the car either.
Ya Floor it and its the most amazing sound you'll never get tired of.

I've laid into my Car late at night in town (not knowning theres a cop a mile up the road) and got back out of it and drove right passed him and turns out it was my buddy and he said he didnt even hear me or think anything of it lol

I have had Borla Stingers & Performance Series, B&B PRT & Rt 66, GHL Bullets and SLP and my favorite is the Magnaflow Performance Exhaust P/N 15660. Deep throaty sound and not too loud but you can hear them coming and going. Everyone comments on the deep throaty muscle car sound. We have the GHL Bullets on my wife's C5 but I still prefer my Magnaflow exhaust. The Bullets are a little louder but not as deep. These 2 are my favorites but I recommend the Magnaflow for what you are looking for. Here is a link to their site but go through one of the Forum Vendors and you will save a lot. The quality is the best of anything else out there too and the exhaust plate makes alignment a snap.

Bought my 01 vert with the Magna Flows installed. Both me and my wife love the sound. And you can still have a conversation in the car with top down

Going to go with the magna flow with the x pipe. But do you have to use the plate between the pipes or is that removable? Who is the best to buy from on the forum? Thanks!

The TI's are awesome but I hate how the exhaust tips look. Too small and sucked up underneath too far.

My LG Big 3's are my favorite so far. I removed the Titaniums and installed b&b prt's which were great but then moved up to 1 7/8super pros. Thus the Big 3's. They have been great with absolutely no drone and are a great flowing exhaust. But I spend a lot of my time with the cut outs open cuz I'm an ear candy guy

My son-in-law has Corsa on his C6, my buddy just bought a 03 with Route 66, and my car has the Magnaflows. I like the sound of the Magnaflows the best out of the 3 BUT, they are the only ones of the 3 that have drone. I complained about it when I first got my car, and even considered finding some stock to replace them. The drone gave me a head ache in no time at all, but didn't bother my wife at all, and I have major hearing loss in both ears. I've since put in a partition and that helped a bunch. Heck, I can even wear my hearing aids now.

Would installing the x pipe eliminate the drone or no?
