Any Sign/Graphics/adhesive experts in here?
The Mallett fender badges were coming off my car and starting to collect sand and dirt behind them so I pulled them off. The badge is made of a rubber type material and the original adhesive was a soft clear type stuff that I was able to peel off the badge. Now im trying to re apply them and cannot find a adhesive solution anywhere! is there a thin clear double side tape out there that is big enough to re apply to this badge with 1 piece that could be removable again in the future without hurting the paint? The badge is 2.5 inches tall at the tallest spot and 11 inches long. I have had no luck locally.

Story gets confusing there. lol. They are out of business but I ran across Chuck Mallets number on the interwebs. I explained i bought the car used and when he asked for my Chassis number for verification he instantly recognized the number and refused to sell me anything or even talk to me about the car and hung up on me. Apparently somehow its all my fault that the original owner screwed him out of thousands of dollars when the car was built.

From research I have done he deserves getting screwed out of every penny the guy I bought the car from screwed him out of (which was in the 10K+ neighborhood according to chuck) For all the cars he built over the years that are "registered at the national corvette museum" its funny that the museum archives says they have never received one single paper from Mallett Cars Inc.

If you looking for a cleaner look then 3M makes a 7mm thin clear double sided tape. Bit of a pain to find. The regular stuff works great but you will see it a little. Just get the wide stuff and trim as needed. Have to use it all the time with the C6 vettes when doing clear bras on them. I take the emblem off before applying film.
