Awesome cars! But as another forum member famously advised....Nothing there means much if it's not SEMA approved and judged, regular car guys have no clue.

But it's a awesome display of fine cars to me!

It's a car show. I think it's cool for that person to bring that. Gives the show some variety. Wonder what the story is on it and how many miles.

Not like the old days when the factory engineers would bring out a little something special, but still fun to see!

Thanks.

'62 Pontiac GP, black, with the 8 lug, aluminum hubs, and looks like the 421 engine emblems…..

Great childhood memories!

My Dad had a '63 White Pontiac GP with the 389. He traded in his White '59 Chevy Impala 2 door HT 348 for it. Love the cars from the '60's and early '70's!

My father was "car shopping" in early 1962, and of course, I was with him. I don't remember what he was looking at, but I still remember being at a local Pontiac dealer, and looking at a '62 GP that was on the showroom floor. That memory has remained with me, all these years. I also remember being in Florida, in the winter of 1979, standing on a street corner, waiting to cross over to a coffee shop, for breakfast. I hear the rumble of a deep-toned exhaust, and look to see this well dressed older gentleman, accompanied by a good looking "babe", at the wheel of a gorgeous '62 GP. As they turned the corner, I could see that the car had a stick shifter, poking from the console. And I'm thinking,

They sure do. I was there a couple weeks ago, it's a small-ish gathering, but the variety of cars is great!
