Default 2003 z Cam HELP HELP HELP

I have a 2003 zo6 with 62,500 miles. The car has LG pro longtubes and zip tie mod. I am going in circles talking with tuners and shops on a cam recommendation, and would love advice. The car is NOT a dd, but....but... I am willing to trade very little driveability. I am looking for a car that is in the middle between poppy and snappy throttle response and making pretty good top end power as well. I drive the car on the twisties in the mountains about 65 percent of the time, but will do HPDE events 3-5 times a year. Leguna seca, infineon, and thunder hill. The car has the stock 3.42 gears and will prob stay that way, at least for a while. Ive gone from eps 226/230 .604 .604 113, eps 230/234 604 112, then lg g5x2,g5x3, a Vengeance racing vrx5, 227/233. So for what im looking for I now have the choice down to either the fms f13, or the FTI streetsweeper HT. Thoughts and advice PLEASE

Most people here will try to get you to buy into their decision , it will only support their decision. That is not what I would recommend.,. don't go to some one here unless you know them and have faith in their build. My recommendation is to go to a tuner, You tell him what you want, and he will provide you with the drivability and the low end or high end torque. Remember everything is a trade off, you cant have it all, but you cant make positional advantages with the right cam and tune. you just need to use an established tuner in your area with a track record of success. Most tuners have a list of satisfied customers, that will offer their experience with the tuner.
When some one tells you , this is what I have have or this is what I did... it becomes self serving. That is different then having a vendor point you to people who wanted what you want and the tuner delivered it.

Evil's right again. Find your tuner first, because the perfect cam on paper can be only x% effective with a bad tune. Ask me how I know. Don't drive yourself nuts over the decision, lots of choices you could be very happy with. GL

Thanks fellas. I have talked to a couple of tuner/cam guys. One was patricks partner geoff. Another was synergy (Rick) wouldnt give me specs for what he thought i need, unless I buy a cam kit. I think i have narrowed my tuner choice down to three places. either synergy (25 min away), ryne cunningham motorsports, or A&A. The last two choices are 5-7 hours away. So hope to find someone really good in the bay area.
