In this picture it shows the difference between the standard modded halo to the LED modded Halo, i much prefer the solid look of the standard modded halo over the led bars in the other.

Just a personal preference however both look tons better then factory.

Bought mine over 2 years ago, still get lots of looks and compliments. I went with the LED Halo from JW, with a slight Tint.

Before and after LEDs from JWM...

Personal preference, but I prefer the halo without the individual LEDs. And I opted not to use blackouts because they look great in daylight with the lights off.

I see what you mean. Just a few more questions, I read the internal area is composed of 28 LEDs but I haven't been able to find out how many LEDs are installed in the standard halo ring. Do you have any idea?

How do they achieve the solid look, as opposed to the upgraded LED halo ring that's clearly discrete? Do they use some kind of light-guide fed from a few LEDs?

If you brake or use your turn signals without having the lights on, the halos remain unlit, right? I haven't seen a photo showing this situation, does it still look nice and neat?

Very nice! Do you have any photo showing how they look in daylight with the lights off?

With this led halo mod there are 21 leds on top and 21 on the bottom.

The standard halo ring is just plastic with one led on each end. With the led halo option we modify them by removing that system and installing our own flex led strips.

This is correct with the halo mod ($35 option). The ring will only come on with the headlights or fogs/parking.

This stuff gets confusing with all of the options. If you have more questions feel free to contact me direct.

Not the best picture of the tail lights but hopefully you get the idea. I also figure that if you spend that much for lights you might as well see them. I had planned to go with blackouts but changed my mind after installing them.

Here we go... This was taken to show the wheel offsets but it shows the tail lights too.

Are there any options out there that are just simply LED tails with NO halo at all? That is, other than the cheap ebay clear ones?

I purchased these. I personally thought they looked pretty damn cool. A friend of mine had them on his Vette years ago and then low and behold I purchased a Z06 last month and had these already ordered to install them on the car.

I have no complaints other than I wish I could look behind me, lol. I got the "halo mod" version which is the way to go if you do get them. I got mine from JWMotoring. Radioflyer was a bit expensive and it would have taken them an additional 1-2 weeks. That's just my personal opinion.

I've never seen any that look as good. Like you mentioned the others just look like cheap eBay specials.

Thanks! We've worked hard to get pricing and ship times down over the years

Does anybody has a picture showing how it looks when braking during the day when the halo rings are not lit?

Driver side is stock halogen. Passenger side is white LED. But yes, the white LED has a touch of blue, which really shows up in photos.

Ok, reason I ask is that I ordered a set. Looking to order the reverse lights led to match.

I have had my HALO LED tails on for some time now. Also bought from JWM. Really happy with these lights. One of my favorite mods. Thanks JWM.
