Tires
So here it goes. I decided on new tires for my C5, 295/35/18 on the rear and 265/40/ 17 for the front. What I need to know, will these work for a 99 coupe? I think I'm going with conti dw's, more for price since I only put about 4k a year on the car. I'm just looking for some expert advice from the ones who know about going with the right size.

If you are running the stock Z06 size wheels and offsets, then those sizes are perfect and will work well on your car. If you are running the stock '99 wheels on the car, I would probably go with a set of the stock size tires just for a better fit, but it's your call.

I just purchased new Centennial Cup wheels & tires for my car. Wheels are 17 x 8.5 & 18 x 9.5. I put the same exact tire sizes that you are buying and they look and ride great. Took it to local Discount Tire and they mounted them without hesitation. Sure they're out of spec by 1/4" each side of wheel, but its not at all noticeable. People have mounted wider tires than 295's without issues on a 9.5 wheel.
