Default Wheel width help

Hey Guys,
New C5 owner here.
Just had new tires installed last night. They said that I have two different width front rims? I have the thin spoke chrome wheels and thought they only come 17" x 8.5 wide. Could I have a different width front wheel? It is 17".

I was a c3 owner but now have a 99 convertible that I just love to drive!!

They must be the polished clear coated ones.
Looks like chrome.

Yes 17 x 8.5 is stock factory width.

Dimensions should be stamped inside the wheel.

Take a look at how the tire seats against the outside edge of the wheels, do they looks the same all the way around?
