electric cutouts
Has anyone had experience with installing electric cut outs with down pipes. I was told you need to have down pipes to keep the heat off the rear leaf springs.
The car is lowered with over sized staggered low profile tires. Light cam, headers, exhaust, heads...
Just didn't want the down pipes to act like speed breaker stops or have any type of heat problem.

I used dmh cut outs. They make a low profile one. I just had them welded onto the pipes under the transmission. If you search the form someone else has pics.
