I knew it would be a requirement.

Let me explain: I was on an Acura Legend forum because of my previous car-an Acura Legend coupe. Then my dad bought a C5 (now in a C6), and I knew he would expect me to know things about it when something happened. So I found the forum and registered. Then after driving his C5 a few times and spending time on this forum, I bought my own C5. LOL

So in a nutshell, it's all your fault (all of you)

I was in the bathroom of my local garage. Scribbled on the bathroom wall was "For a good time try Corvetteforum.com."

Done deal...

My car's previous owner told me CF is a necessity and he was right. So many knowledgable people sharing that knowledge.

Drove my (new to me) C5 about 5 blocks and the dash LIT UP with the infamous ABS / Active Handling gremlin. Terrified, drove straight home and googled "Corvette"...
Been here ever since.

Every time I googled something regarding my C5, the Forum was always first to pop up.

When I started to seriously search for my first Corvette, I knew I needed as much information as possible. I did an internet search for "buying a used Corvette" and found this forum. The knowledge on this forum is amazing, I have learned so much. Using the buyers guide, and the suggestion of an inspection made my purchase easier.

Searching the Inter Web's back in late 1999 I found Corvette Forum.

Lurked on the C5 section for 4+ years almost DAILY.
Signed up a month before I bought my New Z06 in March 2004.
I already had mods in hand BEFORE I got my new Z06.

I should have signed up when I first found it back in 1999.
I would be a 15 yr member now...

I been reading the C5 section for a long time !

I am getting out of the turbo four cylinder game. I currently have a 600 whp cobalt. Found a cheap c5 and am looking to do a full build. I found this place to help me succeed with my goals lol. I have been lurking around for quite some time.
