Just installed racing seats in my car.
Spent months, no years researching seats that would fit in a C5. Also wanted something that would be plug and play. Well that did not happen at all. Anyway here are my Procar Scat Evolution racing seats installed.

Sure. Went with them because they reclined and had the sick looking carbon fiber backs. Also are very narrow and will fit in a C5 without messing with the seat belt retractors. They come with seat sliders and can be used in the install. What I had to do was make a C5 base just like a Corbeau bases. I had a friend that had a Corbeau base and took it to a local welder and he made me a set. You could just buy the bases if you want and go from there. You have to take the seat sliders and remove the legs on both ends. They are riveted on and you just have to grind the head off and knock them out. What I did was mount the sliders to the bottom of the seats and welded a 3/16" X 2" steel bar across on the front and back of the sliders. After that I mounted the base and the sliders together drilled four holes, and bolted them together.

They look good in your vette and I hope you like them.
I actually had those in my vette (sold them to another forum member), but my shoulders were too wide for them. Those shoulder bolsters hit my shoulder blades in just the right spot to make them uncomfortable. (And I agree that they are a very hard seat)
When I installed mine, I used a slider and bracket from Marrad. The sliders they give you with those seats are no good "out of the box."
Good Luck with them.

The carbon fiber and look of the seat was why I went with them over the A4. They installed with the recline lever on its correct side. Did not have to reverse mount them. They cost $400 a seat. When all was said and done. I have $950 in both of them.
