Wanting to try and place a led behind the ignition switch to light up like the c6 does. Anyone else try this yet. Going to be installing leds under the rear to light up my exhaust plate Friday and will try to do the ignition too. If it can be done. Will try to tie in to the footwell light so it will operate off that. We'll see.

I've not heard of anyone doing the ignition switch - that could be interesting. If you do it, please document what you did to make it work (words and pics would be great).
Appears pretty straight forward to me.
Here's the switch from the front minus the dash cover.
One or two LEDs attached BEHIND the Bezel should do the trick.
With the dash reinstalled, the only light you should see should be coming out around the Key Cylinder.
Whereas I have a non stock radio that I had to 'repair' some wiring issues from previous installer, I can say that the Orange wire depicted above at the radio is an EXCELLENT candidate for this project. Pictures are worth 1000 words

Sounds like a great idea, I'd be very interested to see how it turns out. No more stabbing in the dark. Good luck
