It's obvious by all of the comments that Bill was a good man and well-respected on this forum. There will be a void here that will never be replaced. Cherish your memories of your times together and he will live forever in your heart. You both were so blessed to be in each others lives. I'm sorry for your loss.

Thanks for the kind words. We did indeed enjoy our 6 years of friendship. He is missed and I of course, wish we had more time.

I recall his disappointment when the forum decided to omit Bills' annual slideshow presentations. This link, https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...w-is-here.html , has the four annual slideshow presentations that he put together for our pleasure. They are all worth the effort of saving!

So many have expressed their sympathy and well wishes to Bills' family and I echo all the sentiments and repeat that Bill had a profound effect on all members, through his photos and his comments.

A stand-up gentleman! He will be remembered!

A terrible lost for his family and our C5 family. I always enjoyed his post. CF is so much more than just another forum, Mr. Bill will be remembered.

I wonder if it's possible for Mr Jean or someone to post Mr. Bill's obituary here for the rest of us. I would like to read some of the details of Bill's life. This is a big loss for the C5 Forum. Thanks

No official obit has been written yet, to my knowledge. This Saturday, the family is having a get together, sort of a closure to Bill's passing. Perhaps at that time, Kris, Katie, (Children) and Shelly (Sister) will have something for me to offer up. If given permission, I could chronical the past 45 years of Bill's life. His life, like most of ours, had its ups and downs, but mostly ups. I have been reminiscing this past week on all the interactions we had. Like the time the Truckee River flooded his house and property. We were all on National television as horses were being led out of a flooded pasture, via a boat! The water came up frightenly fast...up to 3 feet an hour, We all thought we would have plenty of time to move all the furniture upstairs and get the livestock up to high ground. We were wrong. Everybody, everything, was safe..no grief, outside of the flood damage to their house. Bill and his family stayed in our guest house (A 26 foot travel trailer!) until they could return to their home.

Just one of the **many** memories I have of Bill and his family.

Joe

As Joe (MCharlie) has stated, no obit has been made as of now.
Sounds like he will be able to have it up for you when available.

Thanks Joe.

I for one will be looking for that. I would like to know more than just the CF version of the man although I suspect I already do.

Been away from the Forum for a while and was shocked to see this post!! I have considered Mr. Bill a good online friend for years. So say I'm sad would be an understatement.
He has been a valuable contributor on technical issues, advice for anyone,,and his photography was second to none. Then there was his sense of humor that will be sorely missed!! Farewell ol buddy. Wish I had the chance to meet you in person,,,,Rest In Peace!!!
