I would say it is the 35w HID ballasts and 6500k bulbs. I already ditched the bulbs for the 5000k variety that are less blue. Still planning to swap to a 55w ballast so my headlight buckets stop going up randomly with the parking lights or fogs. And probably soon as my headlights stopped working for some reason tonight. Likely blew the resistor again. Another reason to go to 55w or finally figure out how the harness installs.

Only mod I have regretted getting was a set of MRR GT5 wheels for my current C5. No problems with the forum vendor that I bought them from, but the manufacturer of the wheels was a different story. Had problems with the fitment of the rear wheels from the start and the manufacturer was a PITA to work with.

Hmmm...that's actually a good question. I can't really think of anything I've "regretted". Maybe a gear shift **** that didn't feel or look as good as I'd hoped for.

Probably the only touch of regret would be a mod I purchased and the quality was less than ideal. So far, I've been lucky enough not to have something I purchased gnawing at me constantly because it looks like kaka.

louvered tail lights and tag..
bought some of the fake Z06 brake vents... stuck one on (sorta) and pulled it right back off...
that's it so far... I'm sure I'll have some more.

No regrets here. Been careful to research (to obsessive levels according to my wife ) before pulling the trigger. That said, this forum has always been my "go to" source for mods and repairs! You're on the right track.

The engine mods no. Sometimes I regret the install of the Pfadt coil overs, but I over look that as they make it handle so much better.

I do regret the mod I've talked myself out of a dozen times . Can you say supercharger.

Corsa X-Pipe. Have always had an x-pipe on all of my cars, but for some reason I hate it on this one with the Borla Stingers. Really took some growl/bite out of the exhaust.

Stealth light cannons V3...the quality is no where near the price point and I feel like they are going to leak water everytime I wash the car or drive in the rain.
