Default Mickey Thompson 345 Fitment Question

I plan on ordering up some Forgestar SuperDeep Concave rims for my 03 Z06, going for “tcruse” look, who wouldn’t want that right??

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...thread-20.html

However, I’m thinking of going 19x12 in the rear with a 345. I love the way the ET streets look. Will I be able to fit a 345/35/19? Or would it have to be a 345/30/19? I’m looking for that bigger rear smaller front look. “tcruse” runs 18 inch rims on a 345/35, maybe I will have to do that? I’d like to run the 18 19 combo. (quarters are flared BTW)

Also, I hear a lot about removal of the rear brake ducts or cutting them down to fit big tires combos. Is this a must for this setup? Difficult and will it effect brake cooling drastically under normal driving?

Thanks for any info!!

Unless your idea of "normal" is radically different than mine, I'd say the answer is no: everybody without a Z06 does fine without the rear ductwork.
(Except for the people who put on the fake ducts...they have different issues. )

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm not huge on the way that setup looks..

MickeyThompson doesn't have a ET-street drag radial size of 345/30/19, the only 345 series tires they offer for the ET-Streets is a 345/35/18 which is a 27.5 inches tall tire

the the taller the tire, the more it will fill the wheel arch, which equals less room for the rear brake duct/wheel well

heres my 345/35/18 ET-Street-2, they serve no purpose for straight line performance

Thanks!! I was originally going to go with Nittos 345/30 on a 19, but I just really like the look of a bigger tire out back.

Unless Nitto makes a 345/35/19 that would fit but I think mickeys are overall taller looking than most tires, at least from what I see
