As I was looking at the picture, I thought... I wonder if those are Vette wheels... it certainly looks like the trademark mufflers. And then I read on, and it's confirmed.

Only one thing good about this crime. DUI is probably the only crime penalized appropriately as well as CA does. They may be nuts and fruits and poo-poo serious violent crime and social protest/behavior, but they take their DUI's more serious than most. Maybe this Brian Jones will never see parole. Livermore. That means the big house, San Quentin.

I grew up in Liveremore and live 15 minutes from there...terrible tragedy. I can't believe the stupidity of this guy. I hope he gets the maximum penalty. I can't fathom what the living family members are going through right now...so sad.

I've seen people posting Corvettes are too fast, the public needs to not own cars, alcohol needs outlawed...you name it, people are posting it.

I saw those wheels too. Not only does he recklessly kill two innocent people, has to do it in a Corvette. The morning news didn't mention the type of vehicle but did say he was leaving a local wine festival, Livermore has a large number of wineries, but these festivals are more drunk fests then wine tasting and if I were making a guess, I don't think Brian Jones was there for the wine. I also suspect this will be the last wine festival in that town for a long long time. My sincere condolences to the family.

It is a problem everywhere, legal race cars for the street, I love my C5 that being said my 68 pro street nova 450 hp standard brakes and steering is safer cause it does not go around corners
