Issues with Low Mileage '00
Looking at 2000 coupe with less than 10k miles. Are there any known issues with a 15 year old c5 with such low mileage? Obviously the car has done a lot of sitting and I'm not sure what to look for in this case. It has a manual transmission and Z51 option.
Thanks for any advice.

I would check the service records to see if the car was serviced on a regular basis. It may still have the original tires. If so, they would need to be replaced immediately. Other than that, read the sticky regarding buying a C5. Lots of good info.

I bought an 03 Z a little over a year ago and it only had 33K miles on it, but I drove it maybe 300 miles and I noticed the serpentine belt was shredding. Luckily all it needed was a new belt and no other problems.

It's all on how it was cared for. My 2000 has 46,000 miles and everything works. It looks new and makes over 500 FI to the wheels. I'm just **** about maintenance and make sure I drive several hundred miles a month. Drive it and enjoy!!
