purchasing a C5 Z06 50 Th. Anniversary LS6
I want to purchase a C5 Z06 50 Th. Anniversary LS6 with 85K on the odometer.
Are there any technical issues I should take a special look at ?

If they're adding anything because it's a "50th Anniversary", don't go for it. There were no 50th Anniversary Edition Z06's. All 03 Z06's have the anniversary badges on the front and back, but there was no package or resulting extra charge or value.

I agee with the posts above except for the red part.
Look the car over really well. If you have a trusted mechanic or friend with mechanical knowledge that will give you an unbiased opinion, to take along, all the better.
If your gut and mind agree to buy it, then it is the right car. If your gut feels iffy, trust your gut and continue to look. You'll know when you find the right car. Don't settle. This is a car you want but don't need. Find the one that is perfect for you.

Ask if the valve springs have been changed. Even if they have, you may want to change them out for peace of mind.

First thing you should look at is the "sticky" at the top of the forum page. "Help for buying a C5".

Anniversary edition
So I would agree Red is FASTER and since your ID has you are here in VA I would see if anyone was close to you and have the car looked over
BTW everyone is right the anniversary edition is a standard C5 and not the C5Z
This is what I was told was the true anniversary edition and color.

All the best with the car, that's about the extent of my expertiese . Well, I do know your local fuel station will get to know you well, so might as well make friends.
I used to go into Zebrugge, the old submarine base on the coast, ( sorry about the spelling) for work, and always enjoyed my time there, being somewhat of a bike fan, I enjoyed the trails. I would like to commend a special recognition in your countries' support for the WW2 war exhibits curated in the town. I found it very insightful, and helped me learn about the old cult, but it must be painful for some there.
