Default What I did for July 4th - car show and ice caves

Went to the weekly Cars & Coffee (E@RTC) show in the Seattle area on Saturday. Small turnout being the 4th and all but still was able to show my kid a real live Lambo and others. Took the family car down as we had 3+ people

My kid was able to sit in an R8 courtesy of the owner

Car of choice for all three of us!

Car of choice growing up - still would like to have one!

Then headed to the ice caves. We didn't go in them because we saw two big sections in the back cave in while we were there (didn't get any video of them) and thought that it just wasn't worth the risk to venture in. The next day a huge front section fell - just in front of where we were standing. Then someone was killed the following day (Monday) by more cave-ins.

Hope you guys had a great Independence Day!

Thanks for sharing the pics!!! I wish my daughters were half as interested in cars as your son.

What do they say about timing? Sad to see someone killed at the ice caves.

I was able to hook up with one of the local Corvette clubs and roll in two parades!!

Then time to grill some meat!!
