Hey guys, I'm looking to get a tune for my car very soon. I'm trying to figure out which shop to bring it to, I've heard lots of good things about all of them so I don't think I can really go wrong, but just looking for opinions to help me out.
Vette doctors is maybe 15-20 min from my house which is obviously most convienent, my only "concern" is every time I see reviews on them people talk about Carmen, and I know he's not there anymore
CoW is maybe an hour and a half from me, I've also heard lots of good things about Chuck, also some people who believe he's not as good as he claims and he's just street tuning no dyno I believe.
And then there's ECS, They are about 2 1/2 hours away but I don't think I've ever heard anything bad about them, and eventually I plan on getting an ECS blower so that's a big plus also.
I don't mind the drive to any of them so I'm just looking for opinions and what everyone thinks. I appreciate any and all feedback.

If you just have a few bolt on's we could handle it with our mail order tuning, or also look into JTM in Deer Park.
We certainly would appreciate your business, but that's a tough drive for a basic tune.
I meet and had Chuck tune our 04 vert... Vararam CIA, Z06 Catback
his tune and the booster really woke this thing up... fun to drive... CHUCK is a maniac... he WON'T stop till it's right! I see lot's of good things about ECS as well..
ECS! Good experience with Doug. He went back and redid my tune even after I had a problem unrelated to his work. He made it run right and fixed my CEL's.
Well I've been using ECS since 03 or 04, and while I road race(which brings its own problems) ECS has kept my car running very good. I have never used cow or Vette Doctors, so I can't compare, but I trust Doug, and thats a BIG thing. Track and street results count to me not just heresay, or fancy ads.
At this point I think it's just personal choice they are all good. I would call them up and see who gives you the warm fuzzy feeling better and go for it. I had an ecs mail order tune I live in NM and had no issues.

Absolutely you will like my tune. Before making any plans for bigger and badder mods, certainly feel
free to call me to discuss. There are lots of fun things you can do and at a minimum, I can give you
several options depending on what you expect and how you use your car.
either ecs or cow either one you can not go wrong with..i vote ECS only because they have done a few PCM's for me and i have there supercharger system on my 03 Z06..and so far zero issues
Sounds good chuck, I'll probably give you a call when I have time. You street tune? No dyno, correct?
He does street tune... and if you've never done it....OMG! It's worth the ticket for admission just to drive your car while Chuck tunes it...I was BLOWN away and I'm not EASILY impressed
