Help. C5 leaking coolant in big amounts.
My 100,XXX mile Vette is leaking coolant from the right passenger side tire towards the bumper. I can't exactly tell where from because it drips down. Any ideas where it could be coming from? If so, how can I fix this problem? I'd say about a small cup full leaks everytime I refill the coolant.

There is a cold coolent level mark on the overflow bottle. Can see it on the bottle itself. Check the level when it is stone cold. Maybe it is just over filled and leaking the excess out when it is warm.

The coolant tank has a plastic nipple that has been known to become brittle, crack and leak coolant. It is located on the underside of the tank. I would check that place as well as the hoses that run in that area - there are several.

It isn't easy to determine where a coolant leak is coming from. The only way to know for sure is by doing a pressure test.

Yes. My GMC pickup had a leak and I would be dammed if I could find it. Took it to the shop, they pressurized the system and found it in a minute. It was the radiator, itself.
