Default ZR1 hyper-black wheels

Before and after - I can take it - opinions? I'm now thinking a subtle hood stripe in the same color as the wheels....

Yes to the wheels, no to the stripe.

Default ZR1 hyper-black wheels

Have the same wheels! Good choice But aren't those the competition grey, not black? Or is it just the picture?

I got them at Carlisle. The box says 'hyper-black.' I'll think twice about the stripe. Cheers!

The wheels look good and depending on the style of stripe you plan to put on the hood, that may look good too.

I do like the wheels. I also like the fact that you'll need to keep them clean and not me. I'm thinking the brake dust and road grime is going to be a maintenance nightmare.

Wheels look pretty much same color as the car, definitely not black. They look much better than the originals for sure. I'd say a stripe that color wouldn't even show up on your car.

Definately looks better than the thin spokes, personally I like chrome, old school.

Most folks don't understand the term "hyperblack". It's not a pure black finish/color but kind of an opposite of a highlight color that is used to darken a medium color as pictured - it lends depth to the finish.

I've read so much on this forum about lowering that I'm hesitant to go very far. I'm not laying out for coilovers - so I'd be limited to about 1.5in front and rear? I drive on some crappy roads - any more bottoming out than I get already will be a pain (literally!)
