Default As you get older, or WHAT NOT TO DO LOL

Back in this thread :

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...went-here.html

I make mention as to picking up 8 of those Door Panel Screw Covers that go behind the door pull at Carlisle...but actually it was last year, not this year. Anyway I need one as i replaced both of my outer door window seals this morning and guess what ? For the life of me I can't remember where I put them...

Hi Folks, My name is Lou and at the age of 55, I suffer from C.R.S.

For you younger guys C.R.S. is short for Can't Remember $hit !

Looks like I'll be paying to visit to VetteNuts and ordering a pair.

Just pretend to order them... you know as soon as you get the new ones you'll find the old ones...
Been there done that...

For me, "getting lucky" means walking into a room and then actually remembering why I walked in there!

Seriously, one of Murphy's Laws states that, "you never find a lost article until you've replaced it".

Let us know when you find them.

I always wondered why we're listed on the forum as "CF Senior Members".

Lou your new screws shipped out already. Be sure and install these as soon as you get your hands on them to avoid CRS striking again.

I think that being we are "Up There" in age, our minds have absorbed SO MUCH knowledge that incidental things like "where did I put that ?" and "What did I come in here for? " just gets pushed to the side

How long have you owned your vette ?

See the holes on the right and the left ? Screws attach the door pull to the door panel through those holes..

See this cover ? This covers those holes in the door panel...therefore this is a screw cover....

The point of this thread ? Age and putting something away and forgetting where you put them.....

Some get it, others don't i guess

The biggest lie I tell myself is ..."I don't need to write that down, I'll remember it."
