Driver Arm Rest Collapsing

Default Driver Arm Rest Collapsing
I haven't seen a post on this issue. My C5 Driver Side Arm Rest is collapsing because I drive with my elbow on the arm rest. Has anyone had this happen and is there a solution?

Have never heard of the door arm rest collapsing. But that's not to say it couldn't. Only solution I can suggest is purchase a used inner door panel in the right color from someone like Marc at VetteNuts.

One hand on the wheel and one hand on the shifter. Armrest will be fine.

I drive long distances and have a M6. I guess I just lean on it too hard. I have looked at Corvette Recyclers but not at Vettenuts. I will try that. Thanks

The main cause is eating a Taco Bell Ghost Pepper Griller and getting stuck at a red light during rush hour!
