If I read you right, you bought a C5 without seeing it or at least getting into one? Sure hope it all works out for you. At 6'3", you should fit though.

I'm only 5-10, but I was amazed at how much leg room there was in my 03 the first time I sat in it. I'm eager to hear what it's like for someone who's 6-3.

My knees were on the dash and I kind of got used to slouching a bit...Maybe not this time aye? Thanks for your response. FYI-I live in Page , Arizona , on the Arizona Utah border. We have to shop out of town a lot cause being a small town not all things are available here so at times ya have to do it over the net. We don't even have mail delivery here. For me to test drive a car it would be at least 200 miles before I was in a major town and that's Flagstaff. So...some times we take chances. Being a previous owner of vettes I've always stayed aware of what's happening in the Corvette world so I know a little about what I'm looking for.... Great car, great people...1999 Vette, White , Light Oak Interior , 51,000 miles..

I'm 6' 2" and 250 lbs. I drive an 03 Z06. I could use a little more head room but a little slouch goes a long way. I've done 12 hr days in this car no problem. Depends on how you're built. (Long legs, long torso)
Spend some time adjusting the seat to find the sweet spot. The key for me is the power seat base tilt. I lower the rear to give me head room and I raise the front to support my thighs.
People have asked me to get into the car so they can see how I "fold up" only to be surprised by how much room I have. Enjoy the car.

6'4" here, and somewhere in the neighborhood of 270lbs. I actually find my '04 Z quite spacious, all things considered. There's no way that a racing helmet is going to work though.

Here's an image for ya. I'm 5' 10" and with the seat all the way back and my butt firmly against the back of the seat, the pedals are a bit of a reach. In that position I can NOT get the clutch all the way to the floor.
