Anyone else here still have their C5 they bought NEW ?

I got my 2004 Z06 in March 2004.
Quickly approaching 12 years of ownership.
Just crossed 36,000 miles.
Still loving every weekend going for a cruise !

Its come a loooong way in almost 12 year of ownership !

Still have my '01 coupe - I regularly vacillate about selling it or keeping it. If (reasonably) unlimited resources were available, I'd keep it without question; I think the styling will be a classic years farther down the road. Beautiful ride you have there Toque.

My Z06 when new idled at 650 rpm.
Its set at 925 rpm now with all the upgrades.

I still have mine....took delivery of it in July of 2001. It currently has an astounding 25,450 miles on the clock. It used to share summer driving duties with my '96 Z/28, but I sold the "Z" 5 months ago, after having it for 19 years. It had 78,000 miles on it.......

Yeah, just noticed that, oops.
... my Z idles at a hair below 800. Musta been pretty chunky at 625? What is the factory idle speed supposed to be?
Cold start = 1200
Otherwise = 775 - 800
Bone stock apart from K&N intake, and exhaust; headers, x, aftermarket cats.

Stock idle on my 2004 Z06 was 650 rpm.
Your car was likely tuned.

Purchased my 1998 Coupe on 12/11/1997. The born on date was 1/12/1998, and I took delivery
at the NCM on 2/14/1998.

This pewter coupe was the 239th R8C optioned Corvette delivered at the National Corvette Museum.
Mileage to date = 39,702 smiles

My '04 Z06. Picked it up at Kerbeck in Aug. 2003. 26k on the odo. The northeast lost all power the day before we bought it.
