knock offs
Would like to see these fenders in red.
I am also interested in knock offs. Questions: are wheels hub or bolt centric? how are simulated knock offs mounted? Where are they available?

Simple bold on flares don't work with a body style that was designed to be smooth and sleek. And if you must put them on, at least glass them into place and flare them in, otherwise the car will look like something designed by Hot Wheels. A few of the pics above are OK, but most just look like some teenager's fantasy car.
Besides, why spend all that $$$ making custom body parts for a 20+ year old design? There's no viable business model there, since as some posters have pointed out, all C5 owners are certifiably ancient and would not put any of that stuff on their cars.
Some of it would like good on a current Civic though - they are ugly enough from the factory, so a few more random bits of plastic would not matter.

I’m 50 years old and I think bolt on flares are sexy AF. I’m doing a slow roll on my car but it’s going to be modified and will be done how I like it. I’d love to go wide at some point and bolt ons will be awesome. Aggressive, loud, with the cojones to back it up. That’s what is great about this hobby, we are all passionate and what matters to you is what matters.

I'm not a fan of the bubble flares either.
This is what fender flares are supposed to look like:
No bubbles.
Just cut a horizontal line above the fender arch, pull outward, and fill in the gaps.

Sorry, bolt on flared fenders just does'nt cut it, with me.
They look cheap as a add on. A molded flared fender is expensive.
But , to me it says alot about the owner and his willingness to adhance the
beauty of the car.
