This book’s journey is now past 2 years and thousands of miles. I had no clue this would happen when I first sent the book to CF member DSTURBD in November 2015. What a wonderful idea he had to keep it moving to other forum members and how generous of forum member MRIMD to document the journey.

Just finished reading "All Corvettes Are Red" and all I can say is WOW, what a good read!! So much info that the average enthusiast would never have any idea of otherwise. Who would have thought that it would have been such a seven and a half year constant struggle and all out fight to bring us this wonderful car? That so many of GM's upper execs. were such petulant, inept narcissists?!?! (Okay, maybe shoulda seen that one, LOL!)
Mickey RX70 had posted about the book and immediately sent me his copy after I responded to his post. Thanks again Mickey!! It was even better than I had hoped! I couldn't put it down until it was done.
We have both written our names and Forum names on the inside cover and I would now like to send it on to the next person who would like to enjoy it. I hope that it will end up with many, many names inside the covers. If we could fill it up, front and back, it would be cool if Dave Hill could eventually end up with it to keep!
I loved the last quote from him at the end of the book!!

Book has gone to Z06 Dom in southern CA. His dad, also a member, will also read it and then it'll be ready to move on.
Very interesting read, and if you're like me, you will be amazed we even have the C5!

I have this book that I practically memorized, I am willing to send it on a journey. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send it to the first response. Happy New Year.

I read the book, and was disappointed if I'm being honest.
Don't get me wrong, it's cool to have a book about the inception of your exact car, but it was WAY too much about the people and the meetings and barely anything about the CAR itself.
I was hoping to read about architectural design, schematics, stats, component choice/selection, parts, development, dynamics etc, but was sorely disappointed when it glazed over most of these topics.
I guess I was hoping for less of a "journey story" and more of a true technical/gearhead/enthusiast book.

Any update on the travels of the book? I was looking for the updated map but could not locate it.
Thanks, Larry
