Anyone done any Z51 badging?
I was thinking about adding Z51 badges to my '98 and am considering my options. I am mainly trying to decide between, fender badges like the C5 Z06, or a rear badge like like the C4 ZR1. Maybe I should do both. Also I am leaning toward the C7 style badge as opposed to the C5 style.
Anybody else add Z51 badges?

A PO added them to my '02 Z51 to the front fenders -- similar in style to the Z06 emblems. It and other styles are available on eBay...see item # ( 160813801766 ) for example.

Not many add the Z51 emblems - most stick with the LS1 emblems. It's your car so do what you like, but if I were to add the badges to my car, I would place them like the Z06 has and would stick with the C5 style.

I vote no badges I have a Z and prefer not to have the badges but I left them on because it is a Z. If you really wanted to do it and it is your car I would put them on the side of the fenders.

That said, funny, I was driving home a few weeks back and a guy beside me looking at the badge mouthed out to himself "Zee oh 6"

I disagree. There might be plenty of cars with similar or more power. But there are not that many which can do all things that it can for a close to reasonable price.

It is what it is. Badges or stripes to make it look like something else is silly. Now, if you make the changes to the car to bring it up to the specs of a higher performing car I think it's fine. I think they call that cloning. Let us know what you decide to do.
