New Key FOB and Keys

Where do I purchase additional Key FOB and Keys for 1999 C5??? Also, how to program Key FOB.

You could get them from a dealer (probably kind of expensive) or from e-bay. Just make sure you get the right one (I think one from a '97-00 would work with your car and they come with either a "1" or "2" embossed on the back of the fob. Get whichever one you do not have). For the key, you need to know the resistance of the pellet embedded in the key before you order one - again either from a dealer, e-bay or perhaps even a locksmith.

I took my Key to the Dealer...had it tested...said mine was Vat #3 and they had a old Key fob in the desk he just gave it to me..same as what came with the car...I went ahead and bought another fob on ebay...I found a new OEM Vat 3 key blank on there also for 20.00 bucks...fob was 20 also...

Just a side note 97-00 do not have the #1 and 2, that is later years.
make sure you get the ones for the passive locking... (It has the on off switch)
