Default New Years cruise

Despite having an unusual white Christmas and prolonged cold spell (30-32F) , I still manged to go for a couple of New Years cruises. The first was with Central Valley Corvettes New Years Day cruising from Abbotsford to Chilliwack for lunch. I guess I didn't really cruise - just met them there!
The second was with the BC Corvette Club Jan 3 cruising from Coquitlam to Horseshoe Bay. Then back through Stanley Park (Vancouver) and then around UBC
Hope everyone had an awesome New Years!

CVC group. We had three Vettes and two trucks!

BCCC group. Nine Vettes and one Camaro

The fog dew froze on the branches for a cool look

Lunch at Trolls. Our cars were pretty dirty at this point but hey - cruising in January works for me!

Marine Drive back to Vancouver

Prospect Point. Then around UBC. Got home at 6pm!

Looks like a fun time. I gotta get up to BC sometime this year. Some great scenery to explore!

You know what though, wherever you are there are great places to go! We are looking to get to Oregon coast this year and possibly Cali as well for a quick few days

Horseshoe Bay is great. It makes a nice pitstop. Get some fish and chips from one of the local take-outs and eat it in the park overlooking the water.

Thanks for sharing, just shows you can drive your car in the winter months and all that happened it got dirty.
