You did fine... I bought a 10K mile 99 original owner every option including Mag wheels sticker around $48.5k I paid right at $19k
You could have got one for a whole lot less but keep watching this forum.. it could / would have many issues.

First off congrats, great looking car
Green is an interesting color, it is one of the more rare colors but on the flip side some don't like green cars. I love DBGM, and owned a '93 Polo Green. Coming with the divided opinions on the green, you will find those that will pay a premium for it but also if someone needs to move the car quick you may find one priced at a discount, if they 't want to move the car rather than wait for that person that loves the green. I run national searches on the online listings for DBGM C5s every couple of weeks.
Don't look back, drive it, enjoy it. The C5s are reliable, surprisingly easy to work on with many fixes documented on the forum. I would take a good look at the coolant, and do a column lock bypass. One more thing since you seem new to C5s, if you have an alternator problem, I would have the factory one rebuilt rather than a reman. The cars can be a little picky, and even the Delcos can vary in quality from the factory unit. I am sure someone in Mississippi knows of a shop that specializes in rebuilding auto and tractor electrical components. They do generally last a long time. So I wouldn't worry, just a heads up before you turn the factory one in as a core.
Always someone that found a C-5 for low money but few and far in-between for sure .. Great C-5 and low miles not even broke in yet ,enjoy it ,I want a green one myself I like it ..
Sooner or later they all have problems .......After I got my 99 Convertible 2 weeks ago and started reading the problems these cars have...90% are all the same ones!.....and parts for these problems are cheap...I got my 99 completely fixed for around $300....mine had the usual...No display on my dual zone hvac, DIC was inop....turned out to be the PC board in the cluster, my 99 didn't come with HUD....so I retro fitted it.....total cost was $300, if you can do the labor your self....then these cars wont break the bank
Plus I can now add to the list...the convertible back glass fell out last week....ordered the Rhino Glue and had it fixed for $7
