I bought the SP16a non hybrid wheels 19". Lots of work keeping them looking good. Good luck with your decision.

The 505a"s or the T-10's in 19'' all around. They will always have a high resale value if you ever change wheels or even sell the car.

My friend put a $12k+ set of HRE wheels and tires on his C7. They look amazing too! A set of 375 tires out back looks sick on his car! Luckily he got them used and did not pay that much. It goes to show that if you want the best , then your going to pay for it. I have had my CCW Forged SP500s for 8 yrs now and they still look new. It was a heck of a good deal at $2800 for my wheels. Stock C5 5 spoke wheels have cracking issues. Seen many on her with that issue over the years. CCW has always been a great Forged wheel at a reasonable cost. Only the best for my ride.

OP. Good luck with your decision and dont let anyone talk you out what you really want.

Last time I contacted them I was told the hybrid series max lip size is .5" less than the one piece wheels.

Here is the max lip size for one piece wheels on Maxx's C5Z for reference.

These are the $hyt, yes they are 5 spoke but in no way is anyone going to confuse these with the stock thin spokes. They look way

Always happy to educate! Wide wheels allow for installing the widest tires available. Wide tires = improved handling, improved acceleration, and improved braking.

Nice! I am a big fan of the SP16. I was thinking about a set in the "bright brushed anodized" finish. MUCH easier to keep clean!

Quite jealous over here. I've been eyeing the SP540's from the moment they were released and if I were to place an order right now, they would 18x10/19x11, full polish but with machined spoke face, however I'm not sure if I would have it clear coated or not.

Can't wait to see a C5Z with deep dished SP540's.

So CCW wheels in stock sizes do not improve performance. It's not the wheels it's the tires.

We get it. You do not support anything that goes against your way of thinking, and prefer to label anything that you don't like as insane or a waste of money. You think a stock C5 is the best C5.

Why do you even click on these threads. Must suck to be so unhappy all the time.

You can't get the CCW wheels in question in OEM sizes. However, if they were available, they would only offer increased performance if they were lighter. I am assuming that due to the model Vette you own, you wouldn't have to worry about track performance increases anyway. Your cruiser/waxer would only benefit from the improved appearance of nicer wheels. Basically, this thread just isn't for you.

I just thought a thousand bucks a wheel was pretty expensive for some bling. Some folks didn't agree with me and thought it was all worth it.
I made a simple observation and was crucified for it. Why do you all get so defensive?

Definitely have to maintain and take care of your wheels to keep them looking new. Proper maintenance will take them a long way, same as the car itself.

I suppose ignoring the OP's thread without posting you felt the price was insane wasn't an option for you?

We're fine. You are the one defending your choice to keep your OEM wheels. We get it. You are a cruiser/waxer type and not a performance/modifier type. Sounds great, chief. Just move along to a thread that might interest you. Simple.

I chose the SP16's but that's probably because I run Classics on my Z. The prices are considerably higher since I bought my wheels many years ago. I paid $3500 for 18's front and rear with PS2's mounted. Never regretted buying for a second, even when sitting on the floor polishing them (it's therapeutic). I have gotten countless compliments on how good they look on my car. BTW, I would do brushed centers with polished lips. To the OP, good luck with your decision.
