Default Some progress of my car (pic heavy)

So I bought this car back in July, it was a great start and only 15k miles. But a lot of things I didn't like and I made some changes so here's the progress so far (a lot more to do)

I recently made a Instagram for anyone that wants to follow, I'll be posting pictures and videos on there more than on here @Jboyle532

Bought it with these awful tail lights, chrome license plate cover, ls6 sticker and another chrome sticker under the plate...

Went to stock tail lights, blacked out all the lights, just cleaned it up and more my taste

Under the hood when I bought it, way too much bling and too much going on for me

So I took off about 30lbs of chrome caps and covers

To look like this

Also switched to LED reverse, license plate lights. White DRL and corner lights with clear corner lenses.

Interior stayed the same, changed to a mgw shifter and race **** (no picture)

Also some things not pictured, tinted windows, stubby antenna, switched to corsa Xtreme catback and got rid of the cats, sounds amazing! Lowered on stock bolts. two things left cosmetically, are new wheels and need to paint the rear fascia black... But here she is as of now. Time to start adding power, it's way too slow. But I love this car!

You have made some nice improvements that make the car look better. I hate all that gaudy stuff too.

I like all your under hood changes but I think the fuel rail covers were ok or was it too much red? I have never understood all the shiny/chrome covers to cover other covers?

Nice changes to make the Vette your own. I found that is the key; being happy with your style and not trying yo mimic someone else. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys. And the fuel rail covers are back on. I took them off to clean and took the pic before I put it back on lol.

Nice changes away from the shiny stuff. I'd leave the red covers off... I like the look an engine more than plastic covers.

I like both. I like the clean look, but really I'm hiding the mess of the stock fuel rails. I'm picky lol... I plan to get billet fuel rails and braided lines then the covers will definitely stay off.

Nice job,car looks fantastic now,,, you wiped the mexican right off it. Plus the engine runs cooler without the fuel rail covers. All they do is hold in the heat.

Nice changes you made - it's all about making it like you want it.

Curious what you are going to do with the chrome caps that came off the brake reservoir, power steering reservoir and the oil filler. If they are in excellent shape (i.e., no scratches), I might be interested.

I guess these are popular? Lol already had someone pm me about them. So I'll tell you the same I told him, make an offer and I'll sell them. They were in good shape, I don't know what they cost.

The wiper cowl is chrome, chrome caps for oil, power steering, brake reservoir, clutch reservoir and oil cap. Also chrome piece under the bridge for the stock air box, whatever that's called. The power steering cover and brake reservoir are carbon fiber (probably fake)

... This is a prime example of, 'less' is 'more' !! Everyone will have their own spin on things when it comes to doing mods, and so far it looks like you have ridded yourself of the Pep Boys look ( I won't go to the racial card )!! I really like silver on a FRC/Z06 model and blacking out the tail end to me is a trendy thing. Right now the rear pic of your car looks clean. Hope you keep enjoying the toy !!......BTW, I'm partial to FRC's/Z06's !!...
