[New shoes on today] Show me your HRE's...

Well HRE isn't cheap, that's for sure. I was quoted by HRE $2400 to rebuild all wheels. That was centers re-painted, lips re-polished, new valves stems, all new hardware, and new center caps. That was too high for me, so I went to one of HRE's authorized dealers. Wheel Enhancement quoted me $1400 for the same work, so I went with them. Funny thing is it was still HRE that did the job, I dropped shipped them directly to HRE! I think $1400 was worth it.
The badge says "427" in red, then "Z07 Corvette" below that. It used to have an LS7 in it, but now it has an LS3. Long story as to why it went from an LS7 to an LS3...

Well long story short the owner of this car before me acquired a C6 Z06 that needed an engine, so he took the LS7 from this C5 to get the C6 back on the road. He then had a perfectly fine LS3 block sitting at his shop, so he built an LS3 to go back into this car. The LS3 is no slouch though, while it doesn't quite have as much power as that LS7 did it's still pushing 500whp. I haven't changed the badges because I have been putting money into other areas first.

I'll never forget the first time I saw these beautiful 540's on a C5, it was a 2001 MY Z06 in 2001 at the annual Ecklers's show in Titusville. I said one day I will have those on a C5.
Finally after all these years I found the deal worth doing, $1800 delivered from a kind forum member, with 245/30/19 fronts and 285/30/20 rears (tires have great tread but are made in Indonesia lol).
As the tread says, show me your HRE's. If you know the sizes, post them as well. I can look at HRE's all day long.
