was just going to list a 1/12 set of three corvette engines for sale if anyone is interested . think i've got about a dozen cars as well including several corvettes that i want to sell to buy a set of aftermarket wheels for wifes 2000 . hope this is not an illegal post .
Spent some time on eBay, I think I am gonna go the buy one of every generation in Black route..... We have a ton of car guys in my office so they will make nice segue's when we get sick of talking about work!
My one and only Vette. Literally the exact car I bought probably 6-7 years after I bought this 1/24 die cast (it was fate I tell ya):
The rest of my die casts are all 1/18th and Firebird models. Pretty happy with my collection:
...
Love all the Firebird/TA models.
I have models for most of the cars I have had (including 9 Corvettes) plus a lot of Corvette models that I would like to have.
In addition to the Corvettes, I have had '67 400, '68 400, two '69 400s, two '71 TA's (one white, one blue), '77 TA, '79 Forumula, '79 10th Anniversary TA. I only have a few models for the Firebirds though. It was really nice seeing a lot of those in your model collection.

Thanks. I've been a firebird guy my entire life (when I parted out my 93 Trans Am street/strip car last year, it's the first time in my driving life since 1996 that I've NOT owned a Firebird of some sort).
The top row of 67-68 Birds in my case, if anyone is familiar, are Lane Exact Detail Replicas. Easily my favorite part of my collection. These things run anywhere from $100 to $200 depending on rarity, but are simply AMAZING in their detail. I'll zap some close ups if anyone wants to see how good they are. Sadly, they don't make any modern cars or Corvettes from the early to midyear era's.
Nice collection! Could you please post some close ups?
As requested. Used the lone Vert because you can see the dash stuff better. Really nice work on these, down to individual brake lines on the underside, and you can even see the red battery cable going to the starter.
Far and beyond better than anything Yat Ming, Ertl, Welly, or Greenlight has to offer.
Funny thing is that I have over 1000 1:18 models and I make models for people as part of my living. Yet I don't have a single Corvette model in my collection and never made a replica of any of the five Vettes I have owned.

Check out my GrandSport Coupes above, very detailed.
Same as my GT 40, 934 Porsche, Daytona Cobra, or ELF six wheeler.
Sorry, pics are shot through my cases.
