When my Son was young, I use to do the same thing to him.

He joined the Army and came home on his 2 wks stand down. My wife had to go to work and we left early so we could go to dinner before her shift started. She drove her car and My son and I followed her in the 02 Z. My Son asked if he could drive.

SURE! NO PROBLEM!!

We were at a light getting ready to turn left onto the highway. As soon as he started the turn on to the entrance to the highway, he NAILS THE THROTTLE and flawlessly power slides down the entrance ramp!

HOLY FU$#.

He looks over at me and says "NOW,,, YOU KNOW EXACTLY HOW I FEEL SITTING IN THAT SEAT!

LMFAO! That was PRICELESS!!

Too funny!! I had a 70 GTO when I was 18. Mom took it for a ride banged second and was laughing!

Then Dad told me Mom used to race her 55 Chevy! To this day I still can't make that picture work!

Took my 88y old Mom for a 'moderate' drive last summer - her comment was 'This is one of the nicest cars you've ever had'. She loved the smooth ride and the Corbeau A4 seats - but it was a double-arm pull to help her get out!

I took my mother, who was about 65 at the time, for a ride on my motorcycle. Going through a curve I twisted the throttle wide open in about 2nd gear. She was hanging behind me, screaming in my ear "FASTER, FASTER". Mom is now 93 and doing pretty well.

That was a priceless video. My Mom and sister were down from Nebraska this last weekend for my Grandson's 1 year birthday party. Tried to get my Mom in the car but I think she knew better. My sister though loved the ride but I didn't have the GoPro in the car unfortunately. She says she wants to drive it next time.

Now that's my kind of Mom!! You're very lucky to still have her! Treasure every minute as mine passed away at 52 and I was 14. Mine would have been same way lol. She used to have a 67 Lemans. We'd go to the beach the back way and she'd "gas" it over the woop didoos trying to catch that tummy twinge!! She was a car girl too! Changed all the emblems to say GTO!! lol
