Default How to remove basic ac control

Is the trim held on by clips? I believe there's to screws holding the actual module. Where would I begin? What parts would need to be removed. Thanks

1. Open the arm rest and remove the two plastic plugs at the rear to expose the two 10 mm nuts and remove them.

2. Pop off the traction control panel to expose 2 -10mm nuts remove the two wiring harness plugs and remove the two nuts, disconnect the arm rest cigarette lighter wiring and the fuel door open switch. These four nuts hold the main console in place. Remove the console and set aside.

3. Remove the small vent next to the ignition key, to expose and remove one torx 15 screw.

4. Remove the ashtray and the 2 torx 15 screws in the ashtray

5. Yank the E-brake back and gently pull the main console up until it clears the rest of the arm rest piece. Move the shift lever as far as needed to allow the main console to move to the rear, then you
should be able to remove the center console piece and lay it to the side.

6. There are two 7mm bolts that hold the HVAC control panel to the sub frame.

7. Remove the two 7 mm bolts and then the unplug the wiring harness plug and you have the controller in your hand.

Good luck with your repair
