Default Want to Paint FAST Intake

Hello all anybody know what paint I can use to Paint my Fast 92mm Intake it is gray right now. I want to change the color will I need a primer base coat. I all ready made a stencil of the letters to do 2 colors what a pain that was. Thanks for your help in advance.

I haven't painted one before but a suggestion would be to google SEM paints. Made for painting plastic parts. Good product but not sure about how engine hea would affect the finish.

Thanks it won't work with SEM the heat will cause it to peel I used SEM on my coolant tank and windshield tank.

I painted my LS6 intake as part of a larger project. Special thanks to neutron82 for his help with the painting process. He answered numerous questions I had about the great job he did on his intake and he gave me several tips. This was a rattle can job I did in my garage. Check it out.

Sanded intake


Primer applied


Painted




Nitrous express Direct methanol system mounted

That is sweet looking when I get done with mine I will post up pictures going to spend this week after work to sand it up then do the paint process. Thanks for all the responses going make this just more fun.
