I wish you the best of luck. Your car has always been one of my all-time favorites. I sold my '98 last October and have no regrets. As you know, it had pretty much turned into a garage queen/show car. In the 15+ years that I owned it I never washed it or drove it in the rain. My intent was to order a new C7. My wife, son, and I were talking one night at dinner and our son suggested the Z06. I told him I didn't want to spend that much money on a new car. My wife chimed in and said I wasn't getting any younger and to go for it.

The rest is history. I'm now the owner of a 2016 A8 Z06 and absolutely love it. I've reached the point in my life where I've decided to enjoy this one and not keep it nice for someone else. I've even washed it! As I said, I have no regrets. One of my friends bought my C5 and he and his wife are really enjoying it. Best of luck my friend with whatever you choose.

Thanks again everyone ! I feel I have made a lot of friends in here, and you guys are confirming that. I'm not going to be far away though. I have been here too long to just walk away.

I think my biggest mistake is my brother giving me his CTS-V for 2 weeks to drive. I was able to fit my family in it and go for cruises together. That LSA motor is a nice setup !

My brother has a cts-v as well, i understand the draw, and the newer ones are gorgeous. Good luck

Toque, always enjoyed seeing that silver beauty. I am surprised you are getting rid of the Z. these cars have a way of becoming part of you. You do know the old saying " you don't know what you got till its gone" Good luck with what you buy.

Well... the deal is done.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I appreciate it and will continue to roam in here. Feel free to drop me a line anytime at MSilverZ06@gmail.com, or check out my web site which will remain up at http://www.ToqueZ06.com
Eventually I plan to add another section to it for what ever car I get next.

Congrats Ryan. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have !
Ryan promised me he has a nice home for it and will keep it as nice as I have over the years...

Strange seeing it empty....

Good luck Mark, you were a great contributor to the C5 and helped me on my journey thru some mods - exhaust, coil overs etc.
Wish you the very best with whatever Corvette you choose, keep up all posted so we can see the next "beauty" in your garage.

Planned to make my first post about my new Z. Instead, I have to say that I've followed your posts and car with pleasure for years. It's the look that I hope to achieve someday.

Thanks for all your contributions.
