Broke at the strip, thinking Differential output shaft?
Hi all,
I broke at the starting line at the strip yesterday, I'm running Nitto DR NT05R's with around 450 RWHP and a monster Stg II clutch. I have been launching at 3600rpms with no problems and went to launch at 4K released the clutch and the car didnt even move. Made no noises or sounds at all just sat there running like it wasn't in gear. The clutch still feels perfect no noise and solid engagement feel and goes into every gear smooth. She just wont move though I can sit there with the car running put it in first (or any gear) and release the clutch and it doesnt bog down it attempts to move a little and then just sits there and idles with no throttle input in first gear without moving. I have nothing leaking anywhere, no noises cmon from anything car just wont move. I'm thinking I possibly snapped the input shaft off the trans or differential. I will be tearing it down this week to see what I find,
Any Ideas?

Your symptoms do sound like the differential output shaft. The slight bit of movement could be the limited slip clutches grabbing just enough to give that bit of movement.
It seems people who break the output shaft of the transmission tend to also blow apart the differential case. So, no leaks is a good sign.

Burning Brakes
Get rear tires in the air, spin one tire, see if the other spins. If both do it's probably the output shaft on the transmission, in which case you can confirm by removing the rear cover on the diff and you'll be able to slide it in/out through the pinion gear.
Also look for damage to transmission extension housing or diff case. Might look something like this
