New to the world of Corvettes - 6'4" need some advice
Hello, I am new to the world of Corvettes. I am selling my 2015 Road glide Custom to fund my Corvette purchase.
My question looking for input. I am 6'4" , does anybody have any sugguestions for a more comfortable Corvette model, Seat mods ETC....
I am leaning towards a C5, or C6 convertible.
Thanks in advance,
Sean

I am the same height, I fit in all of them fine, but its a game of proportions. I'd recommend a vert, but I am biased. Read the stickies at the top of the page when you go to buy. Lot's of reasearch to do! Good luck with the hunt and purchase!

I'm 6'4, 265#, and I love my C5, very comfortable. Sport seats and telescoping/tilt wheel, coupe with glass top but that's really no issue. No problems fitting.

I'm 6'6" and I can tell you the C5 fits me. Barely. The C6 is a no go. Of course we are all built different so it depends on how much torso or legs you are. I've narrowed seats down to the Corbeau Evo X or the Corbeau A4. Not sure which of the two is going to give me more headroom.

Sounds to me like a C5 would work very well for you. And it would be a great choice.

6'3" 275lbs C5 is tight for my frame but the telescoping steering wheel helps a lot with the seat all the way back. Big Potholes I will hit my head on the removable top. HUD has enough movement to line up perfect. Seat adjustment is fine and comfortable. Size 13 workboots some time get hung on
The brake and gas pedal with the 6speed! Pressing both at the same time. With seat all the way back it is hard seeing traffic coming from the right.

Not just height--but inseam would determine if you will be comfortable in a C5 convertible with the top up or down.
I am 6'3" 213 pounds with 34 inch inseam here-and very comfortable.
Only issue I have is that the windshield header is right in my line of sight when stopped at an overhead stop light-and it is difficult to see the overhead light.

At 6'4, you should have no issues at all. I'm 6'3 and neither in my coupe or my Z06 has head room been a problem.

I'm 6'3" 230 with 36" waist. My '92 c4 is fine with seat adjusted perfectly. It's the hardest to get in and out of in my opinion. My father is a good 6'4" 225 and he "falls in". He is 65 with knees and shoulders? replaced. We just did parts of power tour and we had no complaints out of the c4. No problems in my '09 zr1 or my '14 stingray. I owned a '64 and fit fine in it. A friend has a '69 427/4spd that I can sit in if you need info on that.

Hey Sean,
I am a new corvette owner as of 3weeks ago (2007 C6 Z51 package). I am 6' 8" 270lb 38" inseam . I wont lie and say that it is the most comfortable ride I've been in but it is much better than my 2001 Ford Ranger where i would sit at an angle to drive lol
Streetlights are hard to see, and the rear view mirror blocks a good portion of the right windshield but all in all I love her, and will love her even more once I get a race seat
I to am looking for a seat to give me a few inches of head room however I am still on the hunt here in Az to find some seats that i can test before I commit.
I almost forgot! - I ask the same question you had to Corbeau and they replied saying:
The A4 is the only reclining seat that will fit.The EVO X is a fixed back designed with Corvettes in mind. lastly, most sport fixed back seats will fit without a problem.. Corbeau Seat Brackets are :
Driver: E22052L
Passenger: E22052R
I hope this helps!
