Next time I'm up at the track I'm going to take some measurements. Maybe I'm biased because I was looking for something a little more aggressive to run forgestar deep concave wheels. My track tires are OEM c6z wheels and even running a 5mm spacer at let's say and inch flare should be no issues....imo

FYI, this car has 1.5" flares on the front fenders. For everyone who wants this much, or more, this is why I think it's simply too much for a C5.
Now if the front facia was wider to accommodate larger flares, it may work better, but just adding 1.5" or more isn't going to look right unless you go with bolt on style flares and like the JDM look.
I think 1/2" to 3/4" would be about the most you could do up front with keeping it proportionate to the 2" rear flares that seem to be the standard.

while I agree a larger front flare will be hard to blend into the flow of the body, it can be done, and anything less then a 1.5 inch isn't even worth the hassle
You scrap your OEM fenders, pay for fitting, pay for paint, pay for the parts itself, and now your in for $3 grand so you can remove your 8.5 inch wheels for a 9 inch? whats the point ......
Im a little extreme, I think we need a 2 inch front and a 4 inch rear to really bring the C5 into a new level of aggressive, but that's just me I guess

It would look good actually because they'll match the rear. The car is designed narrow to wide so it can accommodate 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 flare and look right at home. The challenge will be blending it in to the front bumper.

I agree with this. Subtle instead of "in your face" is the way to go. With a subtle flare and perfect wheels it'll leave people wondering why your car looks so perfect compared to others. I hope they end up subtle

I'm more about functionality punctuated with subtle body alterations. I currently have a set each of the L5, CC and TPE rear quarters that I bought to compare before deciding on which to mount on my C5. I'm pretty sure I'll go with the TPE's as they are the best integrated and most subtle looking of the three designs.
I also just received a set of the 1.25" L5 front fenders I recently bought. I was pleasantly surprised how subtle they look, especially considering how aggressive the rears are. I think the L5 fronts will go well with the rear TPE's due to how smoothly the extra width is blended into the fender shape.
A few pics.
Since I have my fronts off, I made a side-by-side comparison with the L5's.
And, just to contrast those with the rears I have:
TPE
L5
CC

They look excellent, what size and offset are you using on your front wheels with the 1.25" flares?
