Borla muffler removal
I'm curious if anyone has removed the mufflers on a Borla Stinger and run straight pipe? Any thoughts either positive or negative?

Borla stingers aren't loud enough for you?
I may be in the minority here, but I consider running straight pipes on residential roads to be pretty rude.

On the track or show a loud exhaust is cool.
At home or on the road I don't want to hear anyone's stereo or exhaust.

I'd like to get a little more volume from them. I know Borla has three types of Stinger muffler, touring, sport and ATAK. I bought my exhaust used and I think it has touring mufflers. Maybe why the guy sold them to me. It's pretty mild. I also hate the way the mufflers hang down under the car. I think borla wants people to see their logo on the mufflers.

Those do appear to hang down pretty low. But, straight pipes will get very loud - not the most considerate way to drive on the streets.
To answer your question, yes, there have been members here that run straight pipes on their car. Perhaps some of them will give you some feedback.

I also have borla stingers,,,,,,not my style to be honest, trying to swap them for a set of Bullets
Don't hack them up, just sell the borlas ands then buy a set o0f str8 pipes, you will be able to pocket $300-$400 on top of your new set up
