[Z06] Worth upgrading the clutch/flywheel?

IMO the factory clutch is circling the drain at factory power level. All I needed was a set of longtubes and an intake(30hp) to make it impossible to shift at high RPM.
The LS7 would probably be fine. Its heavy and will have some of the same problems as the LS1/6 clutch if you put a enough power through it. A friend of mine started getting sloppy pedal with his LS7 clutch around 520rwhp after a good thrashing.
Best $750 I've put in my car is the Mantic ER2 single. Drives like stock. Smooth, easy engagement. No chatter. Hasn't given me a problem at 620rwhp. I can rip on it all day. I know guys that run Monster and McLeod's too and have been solid.
Aftermarket stuff for sure is not always better...but in the world of clutching these things, the factory stuff(ls1/6 especially) is complete garbage for performance IMO. 100% purely designed for point A to point B driving, last 100k miles with the once in a blue moon on-ramp pull.
If you're gonna bite the bullet...at least an LS7, but I'd really look aftermarket.

Ok so I'm going to go ahead and upgrade the clutch for sure now and not going to bother with LS7 clutch but just go with aftermarket LS6 based clutch. The Mantic ER2 looks good, but I see there are some other options like Monster and McLeod that are a bit cheaper. Any recommendations? I want something that could handle up to 500 WHP, I can't see myself probably even getting to that but that would feel like a comfortable amount of headroom to leave.

I had quite the opposite experience with the mantic er2.. it drove great on the street, that was about it.. it hated being slipped at the strip or driven hard, stunk horribly and pedal became very inconsistent and grabby, making smooth launches almost impossible after the burnout. Now to be fair i did not install the mantic myself, i paid a local lsx shop to do it, who forgot to tighten the two nuts that hold the diff to the cradle.. so what else could they have messed up??
